Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man’s character, give him power. – Abraham Lincoln

I firmly believe that it is this power that helps determine the character of the man. There aren’t many things that I have learned or known all these years, but I know that this proclivity shapes up the WORLD to be a better place, minute by minute, day by day. I have a particular affiliation to the field of politics and youth leadership, wherein I know that youth is the most significant power and the change maker. If given the right direction, the WORLD we all aspire to have won’t be left far behind. As a founder, I am wholeheartedly calling people to join hands and contribute to The Annadata Charitable Trust to change society positively. With your unwavering support and help, we want to help people survive and help them start looking at their lives like visionaries and operate from a mindset to grow and thrive.

When the world SHOOK the ground that we WALKED

If only we sit up and notice, we would know that the world has a significant chance to transform the hard-won battles of this Pandemic into a better, more equivalent future for all.

Over the years, we have always held our doors open to extend help. Only to realise that not all like to ask for help, and not many know whom to seek. So what started as a family endeavour is now shaped into a well-organised trust with its wings extended to all.

I dreamt of making an establishment that zeroes in on the Health and Dignity of the people of Marwar. Five years hence, we have been instrumental in improving as many lives as possible. Health, Dignified Livelihood and Education, are the three fundamental rights that build the bedrock of any flourishing community. But herein, HEALTH holds the utmost importance. Nothing much can have any concern if health is compromised. And this Pandemic served as that EARTHQUAKE which shook the bedrock itself

When staying alive becomes the most imperative of all tasks, every other aspect of our lives is forced to reorient. And REORIENT we did!

The world is just starting to understand how severe a pandemic can be. It has just sprung onto us from the pages of history and spilt unto our lives. Families destroyed, Economies disrupted, Jobs lost, Halted education, and, suddenly, NO ONE was left untouched.

Suddenly we are forced to distance, offices were closed, and life comes to a standstill. But these adjustments are nothing as compared to what had hit the masses. The last couple of months have subjected the most pain of the whole horror. But hope is on the horizon. We are already on a path to success in the form of new tests, treatments, and vaccines, and we believe these will soon begin flattening the curve in a significant way.

The end of the new beginning is near, but don’t forget the importance of shared efforts. We need many different people and interests coming forward voluntarily in goodwill to benefit all of humanity.

Philanthropy can help facilitate that cooperation. Annadata is focused explicitly on the challenges faced by the people affected the most – the Have-Nots.

No one could have achieved this alone. The pooled resources and the joined hands have brought much change to the HUMAN collective. But the Pandemic might be about to get over – But remember it is never too soon to start thinking about the NEXT.

Keep up the spirit of HUMANITY, and those hands JOINED. This time more in ACTION, than PRAYERS.
